What else? What else would you expect from us, a bunch of severely hop obsessed brewers, to celebrate such a glorious occasion? Anything other than a massively hopped IPA would be an affront to our rich history of loving excessive use of that beautiful flower, Humulus Lupulus.
1993-2013. 20 years of brewing excellence. To all who have played a part in creating such a vibrant and quality conscious culture, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and pint glasses!!
Availability: Bottled in May 2013. One and done.

Bottle on the couch. Fairly light yellow-orangey pour, clear. Thick bright white head, which persists quite nicely. Nose is full of citrus (blood orange?) and HOPS! Lovely full and rich flavour; mild caramel, apricot, hoppy herbs - even a little prickly on the tongue - boozy bitter finish. Well balanced. Very good.

Cloudy in appearance. Orange in color with a frothy white head. Lacing looks like snow-covered mountains. Strong hoppy aroma. There is a hint of citrus in the aroma. First thing i tasted was peaches. Smooth texture with a creamy finish. Banana in the taste. Full-bodied beer with average carbonation. This is the first beer i have ever tasted with peaches. This was an awesome beer.

This is a really awesome ipa. Really unique fruity flavor and very bitter. Smells hoppy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

aggressive hoppy aroma. malty flavor standing up to the hops, and a bit of a licorice note. malt sweetness and bitterness, on first take, the malt sweetness trumps the bitterness, but the hops take over in the finish.

Orange color with a creamy white head. Lots of resinous hops, oranges, caramel malt, honey, woody notes.

Pours light orange in color mostly clear with a small white head. Aroma brings pleasant soft lemon and floral notes. Body is dry with some citrus zest flavors and a zingy citrus ending. The booze is blended in there we’ll, but noticeable.

Brouwerij (914) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Tap at Avery. Pours a mostly clear yellow orange with very fine, white head. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, piney, floral. Flavor is hoppy, piney, strong citrus in the finish. Quite resinous, alcohol is well masked. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and crisp texture, mildly oily finish. A very good Imperial IPA.

edwardbass (481) - Illinois, USA - SEP 27, 2013
An impressive Imperial IPA. Aroma is sweet malt with some hops and alcohol. Taste is sweet malt (dried fruit, heck, I don’t know enough to characterize it) with alcohol and the hops are complex, and both forward and not. The hops linger around for a long time, seemingly dancing around on your tongue for quite a while. An exceptionally balanced Imperial IPA.

Bottle:   Fiery golden, translucent, moderate sudsy white head, fiarly nice lacing.   Soft citrus peel, pith, and tea/tobacco leaves on the nose.   Moderate citrus and tea/tobacco leaves on the tongue.   Not real bright.   Not too bitter, mild to moderate sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Feels pretty smooth, a bit heftier than most.   Muted hop and citrus notes on the finish, tea and tobacco leaves are minor.   Not a real bright example, smooth, a bit heftier than most, but not terribly bright.
