Has some nice sweet apple scents and a huge sour funk. Pours an orange like color with minimal head. Taste is a nice lemon sour pucker with a mixture of the Granny Smith apples, nice blend.

Another nice sour from Avery. Wet decaying apple smell and malic, and acetic funk nose. Moderate pucker and nice tart lingering finish. Apple subtle but nicely present. Some stinky cheese aromas as it warms, but not offensive.

Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2012, pour is clear orange-yellow with white head, aroma brought surprising notes of actual granny smith apple that had been slightly overly ripe, some nice lactic, lemon tones, hints of biscuit, bread, touch of caramel and sweet cracker, some slight funk but restrained. Taste is fairly lactic, slight apple and pie-like notes, hints of overly ripe granny smith, touch of sweet biscuit and bready , yeasty notes come through as well, touch of funk, finishing fairly tart. Pretty nice.

@ Avery Sourfest 2012. Slightly hazy orange with no head. Faint aroma with pale grains and sour green apples faintly following. Taste is mild and crisp with a medium sour note, clean light blonde malts and a touch of sour green apple. Not shabby.

Tap at Avery Sour Fest 3. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is apples, honey, straw and meal malt, light tartness and barnyard notes. Flavor is tart, barnyard, apple, straw malt, light bitterness, honey and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a hazy orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of apple, carmel, barnyard funk and citus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of apple, carmel, citrus and light barnyard funk with a crisp dry lingering tart finish.
