On tap during GABF at Falling Rock. Not sure about the Belgian Ale listing- this is pretty wild. Pours a copper/red color with no head. The aroma is sweet oaky, fruit, some light yeast. The flavor is very tart with loads of vinegar, berries, earthy dusty tartness, low carbonation, despite being quite tart very mellow. Enjoyable.

Tap @ Avery. Beautiful, dark florescent orange appearance with a white head. Brett, lots of citrus, belgian yeasty, moderately sour aroma. Actually fairly sour, tart oranges, brett, mild funk, belgian yeasty flavor with a moderately sour, bretty aftertaste. Pretty nice brew.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy copper/brown with an average, frothy off-white head, short retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is funky, barnyard yeast with tart grape notes, light oak, and spicy phenols. Flavor is tart fruit and funky yeast with vinous notes. Medium-light body, low warmth, and medium carbonation.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 patrick767 (2772) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 6, 2008
tap at the brewery - Pours orange with a mild tart aroma that includes just a hint of citrus. The flavor is tart with some of that barnyard funk. What got me was the really freaking weird finish. I kept sipping it wondering what I was tasting. It’s very earthy and not in a good way. I once had one of those deliberately bad jelly beans (harry potter things) that’s "dirt" flavored. It tasted like potting soil smells. yeah, this finish reminded me of that for some reason. Not good.
