April 20, 2013 - bottle via trade. Cloudy yellow orange pour with nice head that faded quickly. Aroma was bready / yeasty, sour, woody and light fruit. Taste was very sweet malt upfront with a nice woody undertone that lasted throughout. A mild sourness came about midway through and meshed well with the wood. The finish was very dry and had white wine characteristics as to be expected.

12oz bottle, thanks Aaron. Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a white head that quickly fades to bubbles around the edge of the glass. Aroma is fruity, white wine, a little Brett. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is sweet and sour, bready, white wine, cereal, funky, Brett, with a light white wine finish. Interesting. Hides the 11% ABV well.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle thanks to robloc303. Thanks! Pours a pale gold with no head. Aroma is winy and woody with a nice sourness. Wood is dominant while the sourness just sort of plays in the background. Pretty nice stuff.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mcberko (4146) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 10, 2013
12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy pale golden orange with an extremely quickly-dissipating white bubbly head. Nose is full of funk from the brett, chardonnay barrels, and white grapes. Flavour is extremely wild and funky, with the brett screaming out upfront, along with dry tart white grapes, and uber-dry chardonnay barrels. Basically a flat carbonation which could be increased to bring out the complexity a little more. Nevertheless, very dry and lightly tart mouthfeel, with lots of wild and funky notes. Good stuff, but not amongst the better ones of the series.
