Reddish pour out of Bottle as a gift for the wife from fellow Rateberr-er Daknole.. Aroma of berries, tart grapes, red wine vinegar, lactic sourness. Fruity and sour flavors. Pleasantly tart and acidic with a nice raspberry flavor. Avery really knocked this out the park, one of my favorite sours.

Bottle. This is tasting really yummy right now. Perfect balance of fruity, seedy raspberries and lactic vinous funk. Really need a couple more bottles to save for later. This is a keeper.

Bottle- kindly shared by Dennoman. Poirs deep amber with a steady eggshell white head. Aromas include fresh tart raspberries and cranberries, oak barreled grapes and a hint of cherry vinegar. Light body, strong on the sour character, tastes of tart fruits, balsamic vinegar. Not the most balanced American sour, but noble through its fruits and barreling.

Bottle, 06/04/2014. Pours reddish brown, ruby highlights, cream head quickly burns away leaving a small ring of lacing around the glass. Aroma is sour raspberry, round lactic character, yogurt with a bit of honey, vinous finish, quite woody. Taste is quite tart, sour raspberries, cherries, very acidic, touch of vinegar, red wine finish lingering. Light, spritzy body. Nice sour.

Bottle pour clear amber with cabernet hues and quickly dissipating thin head. Nose sour funk, raspberry, wine, oak with a hint of earthy. Taste big tart and sour up front, More cherry than raspberry to me. Tartness lasts throughout. I don’t get much barrel in the flavor.

(12oz bottle) completely clear, deep ruby brown. Nose of raspberry, vinous wine, grapes, clean tart nose, the raspberries really come out. Taste of raspberries, tart and vinous, clear sour flavors, clean tart raspberry flavors linger on the palate. Really nice.

12 oz. bottle from a trade a while back, and I don’t remember which one. Pours a cloudy dark reddish-brown color with a small khaki head that quickly settles into a ring. Aroma of oak, vanilla, caramel, sweet cherries, funk, and vinous notes. The flavor isn’t led by the same sweet notes, but they’re more blended in with the cherries and vinous character. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, tart mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nice sour with good balance.

Deep amber with a cream head. Super sour, acidic, wood, wine, dry, and bugs. Super smooth palate, acidic, wood, tart, dry, wine, sour and a great finish.

Bottled Sept, 2012 Pours a brown ale with a broken sheet of dusty whites. Smells of dust, raspberry skins, oak, acid and some wine. Flavor is raspberry, oak, lots of raspberries, acid, some nice acidity in this one. Medium bodied with moderately hi carb and a dry finish. Nice beer, I’ve always liked it.

Bottle thanks to Awlcordell. Pours hazy cherry amber with a small creamy long lasting tan head that laces well. Aroma is oaky, tart cherry, vinous, a bit of basement and funky horse blanket. Flavor has some initial raspberry sweetness that dries out into medium tartness, some acidity from the barrel. Light but noticeable funkiness going on there too. Oaky, a bit tannic, fruity and vinous. Very nice; comparable to a cross between Supplication and Consecration.

This one poured a murky brown color with a small beige head. Aroma was big tart raspberries, some red wine, oak, and lemons. Flavor was moderately tart, but not mother puckering, lots of raspberry skins and seeds, some wine barrel for sure. Very well blended and a treat fo sure.
