COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
No. 15, much like a certain fabled two-piece candy bar of our youth, rich, dark chocolate notes accented with aromatic toasted coconut. What would add depth and character to this already delicious combo, we wondered? The answer is time (6 months) well spent in the very best rum barrels available.

12oz bottle, thanks Aaron! Pours a deep, dark brown color with a tan head and some coconut floaties. Aroma is boozy, nutty, chocolate. Heavy, syrupy on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is sweet, very sweet, vanilla, rum, chocolate, some light coconut, not much, but a little, with a sweet, boozy finish. Very tasty.

Bottle, February 15, 2014. After some time in the cellar it’s taken a more vinous port-like character, the coconut is barley noticeable and the rum notes are more subtle. This bottle had some of the coconut flakes in it as well. It’s past it’s peak. 8-3-8-4-16=39. Bottle on release day. Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma is is a very nice mix of rum and chocolate, vanilla, oak, dark fruits and light coconut. Taste follows with sweet rum, chocolate, vanilla dark fruits. Full bodied with low carbonation.
