All three of my bikes are at the brewery and I havenít had water in three days. The best thing about being a pessimist is proving an optimist wrong. Life will be easier when Iím dead. pours a nice golden color with lots a bubbles.. think a cross between chardonnay and champagne. Iím getting a lot of buttered popcorn like in a big buttery chardonnay.. Real tasty but I think age will do this beer good. WIll be aging my 2nd bottle for a bit.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden colored beer with some white foam. White grape and funky diesel on the nose. Slightly cheesy. Definitely on the funky side. Flavor is kind of lemony, tangy, and funky. Some orange, lemon, and vanilla. Kind of a vanilla sugar on the finish. A slight booziness.

Tasted on 11/16/13 from a capped 12oz bottle at our Avery Barrel-Aged tasting. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thin white head that leaves a very thin collar. The nose is wheat malt and some nutty, buttery, vinous notes. The flavor is a bit sweet with more oak and butter, nutty wheat malt, with some wheat malt and sourness. The body is full with average carbonation and a medium oaky Chardonnay finish.

Chardonnay smell. Buttery chardonnay and yeasty taste which was surprisingly pretty awesome.

Very well balanced. Only a hint of barrel in this - just enough to put an edge of oak here. Golden pour without much head or lacing. Some florals, with light bretta. Delightfully tangy finish with a little sweetness. Some apricot, a little apple. Bottle pour at Churchkey feature event.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma brings out lots of grape must, white wine and a little oak. Flavour is very dry, vinous and complex, with loads of white wine barrels, followed by grape must and the oak - a little funk too. Hugely vinous, which is what characterizes this, though without being monochromatic. A great one from Avery.

Bottle at Euclid in Denver. Pours a clear yellow gold with paperthin head. The aroma is a strong oak, funk, grape. Medium mouthfeel with nice boozy wine and white grape with nice sour finish. Very impressive.

12oz bottle from Aaron, half leaked out on the way out, so Iím drinking the rest now. Pours a clear, light yellow with some bubbles around the edge. Aroma is fruity, white wine, some oak. Medium on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, oak, white wine, with a light sour finish.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a bright golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma of funk, tart wine grapes, chardonnay, some hay and dust notes. Some wet wool and wine notes. Flavor can easily be described like carbonated chardonnay. Pretty wild. Mildly sweet with a fair amount of tartness and interesting funkiness. Some grapes, some barrel, some mango and melon sweetness. Mild acidity. Quite unique and interesting.

From a bottle. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thon white head. Tastes sweet, like malt, grains, corn, slightly sour, and slightly bitter. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like sour yeast and grains.
