Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours hazy and amber with a small, creamy head. Good retention. The nose is super fruity - prickly pear and stone fruits - with a light note of woody funk. The flavor is also fruity, but sour as well, offering tons of prickly pears and hints of watermelon and cucumber. Tart, fruity finish. World class beer provided by landhoney!

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of pear skins, followed by intense tequila barrels. Flavour is heavy on the tequila barrels, way too much for me, followed by pear skins and subtle dry tartness. Tequila barrels really put me off, but I suppose they are used pretty well here. Cohesive and pleasant, I’m just not a fan of tequila.

pour is lightly hazed copper with a white head. Nose is fruited, pear is light, hint of kiwi, sweeter, faint tequila and grain notes. Taste is fruitier, tequila is faint. Pear comes through more in the back with a moderate tartness. High carb and light body.

Bottle from cocoapuph - thanks man! Pours cloudy orange amber with a small white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is very oaky, some funk, citrus (lemon), perhaps tequila I guess. Definitely a bit of a different take on a sour. Flavor is medium tart, light plus funky, drying, lemon zest, basement must, oak tannins, some nondescript fruitiness. Medium body, decent carbonation. Interesting.

12 oz. bottle shared at Darkness Eve! Pours Amber gold with little to no head. Aroma is sour tart and flunky. Taste all of the above. Palate is thin slick and cloying, in a good way! Love it!

GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a hazy amber orange hue, mellow haziness, nice fall glow with an offwhite frothy head atop. Nose shows some nice passionfruit, lactic acidity and decent oak. Prickly pear, gentle spirit and vanilla. Decent lactic jab, mellow funk. Initial is fuzzy and punchy, nice sour punch is tropical, some prickly pear, decent oak, some vanillin. Nice fuzzy sour vibe, mellow oak. Nice guava, kiwi, and prickly pear jabs. Touch of cranberry, grapefruit and more tannic oak, earthy spicy tequila, agave. Gentle fuzz, touch of funk. Backend is nice prickly pear, a bit juicy, some nice sourness, acidity, yogurt. Really tasty. Some warmth, firmer sourness and nice oaky finish, lingering tequila like essence. Yum.

Bottle shared by Seth. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Sour prickly pear aromas? Sweet with cactus, fruit, and caramel malt notes. Good body and mouthfeel. Not overly complex but with a good body and mouthfeel.

Pours a light orangey color. Smells deliciously sour with aromas of peach, lemon, oak, and citrus. Very tart and sour while still kinda sweet. Riminds me of a very light, tart, lemonade with tropical fruit notes.
