Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, prickly pear, grassiness, light oak, light barnyard and a hint of tequila. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of caramel, prickly pear, lemon zest, light oak and a hint of tequila with a crisp dry tart lingering prickly pear finish.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours hazy and amber with a small, creamy head. Good retention. The nose is super fruity - prickly pear and stone fruits - with a light note of woody funk. The flavor is also fruity, but sour as well, offering tons of prickly pears and hints of watermelon and cucumber. Tart, fruity finish. World class beer provided by landhoney!

Bottle @ Steve_0, thanks Stephen! Pours a pretty clear golden orange appearance with a thin off white head and pretty serious legs. Lots of light fruits in the nose - apple, pear, lime - with a slight spiciness, maybe from wood. Really tastes like a green apple jolly rancher. Usually, green apple isnít very desirable but itís cool in this. Lots of pear and apple along with some vanilla. Way more enjoyable and chuggable than I expected.

Hazed yellow, white head. This is a cool beer. The tequila is a welcomed addition to the prickly pear. The fruity flavor comes off as a melon or tropical note. Perfect sourness. Really a treat.

Great sour, some spice, with tequila in the finish. Mouthfeel felt like fruit pieces. Very drinkable. Tequilla nose.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of pear skins, followed by intense tequila barrels. Flavour is heavy on the tequila barrels, way too much for me, followed by pear skins and subtle dry tartness. Tequila barrels really put me off, but I suppose they are used pretty well here. Cohesive and pleasant, Iím just not a fan of tequila.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Stephen! Clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of tequila, lime, hints of hibiscus into a bit of tart lemon, biscuit, bready notes with a touch of oak, agave comes through as well. Taste is a mix of lime, hibiscus, floral notes into a bit of oak, tequila, hints of biscuit, bready notes, slight yeast into a bit of lime, finishing fairly tart, slightly sweet. Probably one of the better ones in recent memory.

GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a hazy amber orange hue, mellow haziness, nice fall glow with an offwhite frothy head atop. Nose shows some nice passionfruit, lactic acidity and decent oak. Prickly pear, gentle spirit and vanilla. Decent lactic jab, mellow funk. Initial is fuzzy and punchy, nice sour punch is tropical, some prickly pear, decent oak, some vanillin. Nice fuzzy sour vibe, mellow oak. Nice guava, kiwi, and prickly pear jabs. Touch of cranberry, grapefruit and more tannic oak, earthy spicy tequila, agave. Gentle fuzz, touch of funk. Backend is nice prickly pear, a bit juicy, some nice sourness, acidity, yogurt. Really tasty. Some warmth, firmer sourness and nice oaky finish, lingering tequila like essence. Yum.
