Aroma of fruit and vinous sour. Not sure what prickly pear smells like but prob that. Maybe sour pear, and the tequila doesn't come through much. Taste is vinous sour. 7 of 10 maybe. And some sour pear and tangy ness. Another great sour from avery. Love it!! Very different of a sour but still great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, prickly pear, grassiness, light oak, light barnyard and a hint of tequila. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of caramel, prickly pear, lemon zest, light oak and a hint of tequila with a crisp dry tart lingering prickly pear finish.

Bottle at Euclid Hall. Pours a clear orange gold with no head. The aroma is a strong prickly pear, lime, and oak. Thin mouthfeel with nice sour pear and lime juice with nice tart finish. Really enjoyed this one.

This is one of the best sours I have ever tried. Very sour and very fruity. Tastes like watermelon, cherries, super tart goodness. Tequila on the nose otherwise not very present. Kippie In Colorado

Recieved as a part of Free Beer Week 2014 -- Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Very fizzy quarter inch head that disappears quickly. Not much aroma to speak of. Looks like a hazy golden with pink highlights. The flavor is amazing, very tart/sour to start with on the top of the tongue and as it slides back I’m left with an amazing tropical fruit flavor; Lychee and Kiwi. Very impressive beer.

Bottle share thanks to Matt. Appearance: slight cloudy, finger white head, amber copper color. Aroma: tart fruitiness, light oak, slight agave on the taste, more complex than I got a chance to really dive into. Palate: light body, average carbonation, tart finish, dry finish. Taste: nice fruit sweetness to tartness, slight agave on the finish. Overall, one of the better balanced sours I have ever had, unique tastes and scents, just wonderful.

Poured from bottle to glass. Aroma is lactic, fruity Brett, sugar, acetic, papaya. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium blight body and high carbonation. Taste is tart sourness throughout with a watermelon finish. Overall this is great sour brew and tastes exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher :-)

Hazed yellow, white head. This is a cool beer. The tequila is a welcomed addition to the prickly pear. The fruity flavor comes off as a melon or tropical note. Perfect sourness. Really a treat.

Bottle from Pat. Thanks ßrō. Aroma and flavor of prickly pear, wild yeast and slight tequila (at least, not overpowering). I couldn't imagine a much better execution on the palate, nice carb and mouthfeel...not really acetic or overpoweringly sour. Great beer.

12 oz bottled 2 weeks ago purchased at Evergreen Discount and poured into a small wine glass. Orange and pretty clear with light sediment and a fizzy, quickly diminishing head. Tropical, fresh aroma of tart fruit, sour notes, light oak and a touch of tequila. Similar flavor, juicy, fruity, tart, sour and lightly sweet. Medium body with a nice puckering feel and a lasting finish. Pretty damn good.
