Bottle (12 oz). Bottled April 7 2014. From marheb, thanks! Hazy mahogany with a small bubbly beige head and little to no lacing. Aroma is of red fruits with strong barrel presence (wine), wood, caramel notes and hints of ketchup. Taste is quite fruity (red fruits) and winey with oak, caramel, light sweetness and moderate sourness. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Winey mouthfeel. Lingering woodsy and fruity finish. Quite complex and pretty good balance too. Super tasty and quite drinkable too. Not too acidic. Nice barrel treatment. Lovely.

12 oz. bottle from Wilburís. Appearance: amber color, slight khaki head, no lacing. Aroma: white wine, tart fruit, oak, very faint caramel. Palate: average carbonation, light body, sour finish, thin texture. Taste: sweet fruit starts it off for a second, becoming very tart to sour fruit that lasts; there is a light malt sweetness hidden in the front as well. Overall, very good balance, sour is not unreasonable and it makes it a very drinkable sour.

Holy god, this is so good. Palate is a little drier than I would prefer, but otherwise damn tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours darkly ruddy with a slight, transient tan head. Aroma is quite sour/tart in a grapey way. Med body or nearly. Flavor is cherry/berry sour tart, but much milder than the aroma suggested to me. Thereís some background oak astringency. Overall itís red berry sour/tart. Just excellent. Think it might stand up to some of the Vestflanderen ales.

Bottle to glass. Pours a murky medium brown with dark orange highlights and a thin light tan head. Aroma is moderately tart, vinegar, sour grapes, light sweetness. Flavor packs a sour punch with sour grapes. Oily mouthfeel with a long lingering tartness on the back of the tongue. Absolutely delicious!
