An artful and massively acidic blend of two major projects and further enhanced with several orphan barrels from the corners of our barrel aging cellar. All ale involved was barrel aged for a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 24 months.

Bottle to glass. Pours a murky medium brown with dark orange highlights and a thin light tan head. Aroma is moderately tart, vinegar, sour grapes, light sweetness. Flavor packs a sour punch with sour grapes. Oily mouthfeel with a long lingering tartness on the back of the tongue. Absolutely delicious!

Mostly red wine barreled (cab & zin) but also 9% in Chardonnay, an interesting twist. Also has all 4 of the major bugs, so pretty sour and acidic - in a good way. Murjy brown with ample carbonation. Nose, feel and flavor really pop. Pretty complex stuff...barnyard goodness with lemony tartness, oak, acid, leather & tobacco. A lot going on.

12oz bottle I picked up at The Bier Stein in Eugene, Oregon a few months back. Looked this one up ahead of time and was plenty excited just from that. Allowed to room temp appropriate, poured into my Mikkeller BKK glassware, and whiffed...a glorious sour apple infused barnyard funk they smashed into a Jolly Roger somehow. Sour apple up front on the flavors, moving into a tart direction that lasts until you can feel it in your face. Beautiful notes of charred wood blended with bretted cab and hints of chardonnay. Just, excellent. A brilliant sour brown sacch and brett mix. Gorgeous, a thing you lust for!

Bottle. Somewhat opaque mahogany with a light beige head that turns into a nice film. Nice blend of oak, chardonnay, Zinfandel, nice fruit presence, light malt, soft sourness, enjoyable to sniff. Moderate carbonation, soft but strong body, nice and dry with a crisp finish, hint of green apple with chardonnay and oak.

(12oz bottle) medium deep orange-brown, fine tan bubbles. Nose of rich red wine, grapes, tart and acidic, like a sour brown, touch of white wine, fresh fruit, cherries, touch toasty/chocolaty even. Taste of iron, tart and vinous, lots of wine barrel character, has some rust crept in here? A little acid but not super acidic, rose hips, well balanced sour, medium carbonation and body. Great linger, juicy sour cherry.
