Bottle shared in Hoboken. Pours mostly clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has tart berries, leather, wood. Light to medium sweet flavor, fairly acidic, with further tart berries, lemons. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Tart, cleansing finish with more lemons and leathery berries. Pretty nice.

12 ounce bottle shared by jackl, 11/19/14. Pours a clear copper with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart wine, pepper, funk, cherries, candied lemon. The taste is tart cherries, red wine, lemon, candied lemon and a strong tannic note. Medium bodied, strong lingering tartness. 200th sour ale!

I like it a lot. ... Aroma is woody, nutty, sharp and cherrys. Taste is acetic acid, wood, berry fruitiness, and a bit of booze which is strange for such a low abv. Good beer though.

Hazy Amber chestnut, thin beige ring, oily cap. Nutty wood and plums in nose front, stinging green acids before light plastic and grains mid, rich and juicy with tons of heat across the finish.

Pour from a 12 oz. bottle at FOBAB. Pours a cloudy dark brown-amber color with a finger of tan head. Notes of berry and tart citrus fruits, caramel (candy apple), brown sugar, oak, red wine, lactic acid, and a bit of balsamic. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet and sour mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nicely done, but struck me kind of as a sour brown in style.

Bottle, found somewhere in STL. Medium brown with a small head. Quite acetic. Some balsamic, salty driftwood. Dark forest fruits, cherry skin. Taste isnít as muscular as the aroma. Light lemon spritz. Lemon warhead. Some musty wood and cherry skin. Light and zippy. Full carbonation. Quite interesting.

355ml bottle. This is a good concoction of I donít know what, but it tastefairly heavily sour with not much funk just a clean sourness, some red currants, dark fruits, some woodiness, very pleasant despite the sour level.

Pours almost black with solid white head. Not what I was expecting. Taste is medium to strong sour that isn't tart as much as it is acidic. Barrel aging is good on this one. There is definitely a wine component here that goes really well with the beer. Some nice fruits in here and nice balance on the flavors. Really fun.
