3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Avery. Pours a murky brown with off white head. Settles quickly with some thin lacing. Aroma is chai, strong ginger. Flavor is similar, ginger up front fading into pleasant chai, mild spice. The ginger compliments the chai nicely, better balanced than a pure chai or ginger beer. Moderate carbonation, medium body. Interesting and drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Avery. Pour is murky brown with a frothy tan head and great lacing. Huge chai, exotic spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, light bread, roast, tea, pumpkin, and cocoa in the aroma. Taste is nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee, slightly fruity, bread, biscuit, and earthy with a lightly spicy finish. Light body with high carbonation. Really different beer but I kind of dig it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at source, pours murky brown with white head. Aroma is heavy on the cardamom, cinnamon, cream, and nutmeg. Flavors are slightly tart fig, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, some creamy and malty notes finish. Tastes just like chai tea, which has never been my thing. But we’ll executed.
