Draft, Brouwer’s. Black pour, tan bubbles. Lots of bourbon on the aroma, dark coffee roasty notes. This is a very smooth bourbon loaded imperial stout, some vanilla, light char, roasty coffee and chocolate. Not hot at all for a bourbon barrel stout. Loved this one.

Draught. Black with nonexistent head. Aroma of bourbon, very sweet chocolate, leather, light coffee and some notes of fruit (pear). Taste is sweet chocolate, boozy bourbon, very rich almost creamy. Palate is oily and has medium carbonation. Exceptional, and in my mind better than plain black tot.

Crushed at the Black Tot release. One hell of a beer. Plenty of bourbon to go around that lasts well past the finish. Definitely covers most of the flavor but it’s still excellent and as smooth as it gets. Like the original Tot, could use some aging, but unfortunately we’ll never know.
