COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

3015 bottle. Pours a completely opaque black with a yellow khaki head that sustains surprisingly well and settles to a thin film and ring and leaves good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon and a hint of umami. Big chocolate and bourbon in the taste with plenty of alcohol. It has a smooth roastiness and just a bit of coffee bean flavor and woodiness. Finishes with a moderate roasty bitterness and alcohol flavor and warmth. Medium/full bodied with moderate carbonation. Too much alcohol and not near enough coffee. The bourbon really dominates this beer. Would have liked more contrast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(12oz bottle) inky espresso brown, fine tan bubbles. Nose of sweet coffee/espresso, rich, toasty marshmallow, mild funk, alcohol, chocolate malt. Taste of alcohol, toasty chocolate malt, medium roast, rich coffee, marshmallow, medium thick body, boozy linger.

On draft. Pitch black, with a small tan head. Boozy, strong coffee, chocolate, bourbon, raisin, prunes, vanilla, strong alcohol bite, and very sweet sugary molases. Obviously this is a sipping beer, enjoyed on rare occasion.

I really love these BA high octane brews from Avery. Thick black pour with a nice thick dark brown head on this one. Nose is bourbon coffee goodness. Thick mouthfeel. Super boozy. Big bourbon, coffee. Bitter coffee and chocolate in the finish, along with the lovely, lovely heat. If you don’t like it hot, don’t buy 18% beers.

Bottle. Thick black pour with dense mocha head. Aroma is alcohol, vanilla, oak, and marsh mellow. Taste is marsh mellow, coffee, oak, bourbon, finishes strong with some bitter roast and plenty of alcohol. Thick mouthfeel, medium carb. Very solid, I don’t get much coffee but it works well as a barrel aged stout.

Bottle. The look is a tan head, dark black look and color. The smell is coffee, alcohol, raisan, big, bold , and go home. The taste is alcohol, coffee, wood , and taste.

12 oz bottle. Pours black and syrupy with dark brown head. Aroma of bourbon, molasses, cocoa, wood, vanilla, maple syrup, coffee. flavor of cocoa, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, molasses, wood. Very heavy and thick. Has a ridiculous bite from the high alcohol. However, it doesn’t taste boozy to me.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small brown head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving nice residual and good lacing. Aroma is pretty strong coffee, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, rich, but hella boozy. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, hot and boozy. Too hot. Come on now.
