COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

12 ounce bottle, bottled on Jan 25 2016. Batch No. 2, 17.5% ABV. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both really good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla and roasted malt. For the most part I think the taste is just like the aroma, but there’s also some molasses and burnt/charred malt noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is full, it’s slick and smooth with moderate carbonation. At 17.5% ABV, it’s not as boozy as I was expecting. It’s pretty easy drinking for something that strong, too. I think this is really good, but then I’m not surprised that I like this a lot because I’m also an Avery Mephistopheles fan. I definitely recommend Tweak, I know I’d love to buy this!

12 oz. bottle shared by Chalumeaux. Thanks TJ. Batch number 1. October 2014 vintage. Pours Raven feather black with a weak thin tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, huge integrated bourbon notes with a touch of deep roasted coffee bean.

The flavor is better the aroma, wow! Taste is sweet but not cloying, deep chocolate, vanilla, caramel right upfront. The bourbon and coffee comes in strong and lingering in the finish. The bourbon/ malts / coffee is all married together in a wonderful display. The booze is here but never overwhelming. Gives a very minor warming after the sip. This has sat just long enough for all the flavors to meld together. DAMN, I love this!

Bottle from Batch #2 into a snifter. Pours black, with a minimal tan head. Nose is bourbon and dark roast malt. Taste is sweet caramel and vanilla at first, yielding to a noticeably boozy bourbon finish. Creamy mouth feel and a very long finish. A monster which will improve with aging. Excellent.

Bottle from Batch 1. Black with a light mocha film that fades to a nice ring around the glass. A fairly boozy and sweet pour although the bitterness from the coffee helps to balance things out - bakers chocolate, roasted and semi burnt malt, vanilla, char, oak, some molasses, mild carbonation and full body, warming.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black oily with almost no head. Aroma has gunpowder, caugh syrup, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, roasty malts, fudge, toffee, slight coffee, booze. Taste is super sweet, with a nice balancing booziness, tons of caramel, spicy bourbon, alcoholic finish. Oily, sticky body and close to no carbonation. Very nice!

Bottled January 25, 2016. Pours dark brown / black color with thin brown head. Aromas of bourbon, coffee, roasted malt, and oak. Big bourbon and coffee flavors with moderately bitter roasted malt and oak. Sweet and boozy. Medium to full body with minimal carbonation. A great sipper.

12oz bottle with a Jan 26, 2016 bottle date. From banana bi11, shared with him at cellar temperature. Thx E! Very dark brown pour. Aroma has coffee, chocolate, vanilla. The coffee is nice. Taste is of sweet caramel, light roast, heavy vanilla. Medium to full bodied. Definite alcohol presence. Lowly carbonation. The blend is good, slightly rough. Finishes sweeter than bittersweet. This is very good. Maybe aging would help to smooth out a bit, but this is good. 16

Pours a deep dark brown color. Small tan head head that lasted throughout. Aromas of bourbon and wood. Flavor was a lot of bourbon, hints of smoke, chocolate. Full bodied and creamy. Tasted more bourbon than beer. WOW, this is a flavorful beer!!
