Taster poured at avery. Smells like a brown ale. Tastes like a brown ale. I don't get coconut flavor at all in this beer. Not the best

Tap at Avery. Pours brown with quickly settling tan head, with a little thin lacing. Aroma is toasted and sweet coconut, with a mildly nutty, toffee, roasted malt background. Flavor is toasted, nutty, and toffee malts up front with a sweet, toasted coconut finish. Intensity of coconut flavor seems to vary. Soft carbonation, light body, and smooth texture.

Tap. Pours brown with tan head. Has a touch of caramel, don’t really get coconut....touch of sweetness but not much. It’s a bit boring. Okay.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish pour with thin off white head, aroma brought decent notes of toasted coconut but a bit faint, some nice cocoa powder, hints of nuts, brown sugar, spice, slight coffee, roast, hints of bread, biscuit, and caramel. Taste is a mix of sweet coconut, vanilla, hints of brown sugar into spice, touch of oaky tones, slight cocoa powder and chocolate, coffee, caramel, and toffee, finishing sweet, slightly bitter.

Nose of toasted coconut and sweet caramel malt. Toasted coconut macaroon flavor on a standard brown base beer. Nice and well done. Better than Maui Coconut Porter, I think.
