On tap at the Falling Rock. Poured dark reddish brown, had no head by the time it got to me. Smelled of sour cherries, a little malty and slightly sweet. Tasted mainly sour with sweet tinges and lingering cherry taste. For a 10.5% certainly cannot taste it. l look forward to trying this beer again.

On tap at Hamilton’s. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a white ring. Aroma is a bit sour, of malt and cherries. Sweet and sour taste, with dark fruits and malt. The alcohol is nicely hidden. Lingering fruity flavors. Different and very tasty.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2008 Draught at Falling Rock Taphouse. Clear red / deep red - white head. Berries, winegums, candy, fruity, high sweetness, brett, glue, wood, oak, caramel, high malty, bike-glue, cherry, ryebread, roasted. Very nice aromatic and tastefull.

On tap at Hamiltons 2nd Anniversary Party. Pours with a dark brown body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sour and medicinal with underlying bitter notes. Light to medium bodied and slightly dry.

On tap. 10th rating, which makes this beer official. Strong sour aroma, similar to floor cleaner. Sometimes I get this, especially for strong sours. Mild sour flavor. Dark brown color. Some alcohol burn. Pretty good.

Tap @ Hamilton’s during the 2nd anniversary Party. Pours dark dark brownish with a tan head. Nose is mellow with a big punch of funk. Taste is huge with lots of funk lots of flavor and some nice complexity. very very easy drinking for the abv.

Light acidic aroma of vanilla, red wine and oak with notes of brett.

GABF 2008 @ Avery. A headless brown body that emitted a wonderful aroma of sour brown sugar aroma with vinous oak characteristics and vanilla. A similar flavor with a smooth finish.

Pours amber with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, hay, straw) average hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (barnyard, horse blanket) with notes of apple and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a sour finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and sourness.
