3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Nose is full of tropical hops, lemon and lychee over spicy and very strong dough, some resin. Pours hazy golden with orange highlights and a sudsy beige head. Taste strongly bitter, medium carbonation in a full body, light sweetness, luxuriously smooth body with non-burning but still slithery alcohol, dank pine character and softened, gummy resinous character. Some floral and mango notes after a few ounces, overall orange. Decent malt spine but the hops I’d guess to be more aggressive by design are a bit too dulled -- I assumed this to be a fresh bottle, maybe it needs to be had even fresher?

Hop bomb! Resinous, piney hop centric imperial IPA that is surprisingly easy drinking. Floral forward and amber in color, this is a beer for beer lovers.

Tap at Falling Rock. Pours clear golden amber with rising fizzy white head. Aroma is toasted and caramel malts, intense floral hops, light grass, light herbs, and some pear. Flavor is fresh hops forward with some toasted malts, light caramel sweetness, and grapefruit esters; dry finish with lingering hop bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

Herbal, floral, fruity, and light caramel malt aroma and flavor. A little alcohol in the aroma. Nice tropical fruit and mildly sweet finish/aftertaste. Tongue-numbing hops.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours copper in color with a thick white head. It smells exactly like canned pineapples. I got nothing else, canned pineapples is all I’m getting and it smells amazing. The taste is sort of sweet/bitter, big citrus grapefruit hops. sticky sweet malts. Very good IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. I can’t believe I’ve never rated this! Aroma is caramel, Pixie Stix, vegetal, :( grapefruit. Pours dang near clear orange with a nice off-white head with great retention and lace. Taste is too vegetal, very bitter. Creamy mouthfeel, near full body. This must be either old or it’s just not my thing.
