COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lupulin Rapture Incarnate! As fervent devotees of hops, we found ourselves on a quest to create a transcendental IPA capable of quenching our voracious lupulin desires. Our mantra became “unity of bitterness, hop flavor and aroma.” Enlightened, duganA IPA was born: A brutally bitter, dank, piney and resinous ale designed for those seeking a divine hop experience.

Bomber. Pours a bright coppery amber with a four-finger off-white head. Aroma of floral, resin and earthy hops. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is floral over caramel. Some definite fruit. Pine? Don’t know where it went. Mouth puckering. Very bitter, somewhat astringent and incredibly tasty.

Draft at Dilly Deli. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy, citrus and pine hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bitter hop flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that was better then my expectations.

12/10/10/12/11/11

Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is all about pine sap with a small spray of peach or apricot. Medium to full-bodied and oily with busy carbonation. The malty flavor is big on toffee sweetness followed by a good amount of fruity, piney bitterness. Finishes bittersweet.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Clear light brown. Scant aroma. Taste is very bitter start to finish, without much else.

Thanks to pilsnerpeter for sharing. Deep amber pour with a very sticky white head. The nose is very chewy and intense. A bit of light hop resinousness. Some nice sweet rich fruity resinous hoppiness. Lots of pine and citrus with a touch of apricot fruitiness as well. It’s fairly boozy as it starts to warm up. A kiss of pine and citrus. Assertive bitterness despite the fairly sweet palate but pretty nice nonetheless.
