COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lupulin Rapture Incarnate! As fervent devotees of hops, we found ourselves on a quest to create a transcendental IPA capable of quenching our voracious lupulin desires. Our mantra became “unity of bitterness, hop flavor and aroma.” Enlightened, duganA IPA was born: A brutally bitter, dank, piney and resinous ale designed for those seeking a divine hop experience.

Cloudy orange with white head. Pine and hops in the aroma. Strong pine, spice in the flavor. Liked this one quite a bit.

Poured into a snifter. Fucker gushed on me. 4.0 A: Opaque medium brownish orange color. Three fingers of beige frothy/creamy head. Retention is initially average with the last half finger sticking around a lot longer. Lots of lacing left behind. 3.5 S: Mix of bready malts and yeast and flowery and citrusy hops. Pineapple, mango, and papaya fruitiness. Light toffee to accompany the bready malts. A bit too yeasty for me, but good anyway. 3.5 T: The taste is much cleaner than the nose is. Still bready and yeasty, but tolerable this time. Mango, papaya, and pineapple dominate the taste. Mild to moderate bitterness. Tasty. 3.5 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation despite the gushing. Reasonably creamy. Chewier than I’d prefer due to the yeastiness. 3.5 D: Not bad, especially for how yeasty it is. Glad I tried it. En IPA med en annorlunda karaktär. Söt, mycket humle och en tydlig beska. Lite metalliska i smaken. Angenäm i smaken.

Pours a hazy golden color with a frothy medium sized head. The aroma is nice with notes of citrus, pine and caramel. The taste is bitter and a bit salty with a nice silky texture in and medium body on the palate. Overall a decent Ipa, nothing special to write home about, but worth a repeat. Franks

Bubbly head and an amber body with floating particulates. Outstanding floral aroma; one of the best I remember for an ipa. Smooth on the palate. The taste has a great hoppiness. DANK! I should mention that I’ve had this one cellared for quite a while.

(1pt, 6oz bottle) A foggy orange body with a medium, bubbly off-white head. Great aroma full of sweet malt, a ton of fruit including citrus hoppy notes, wheat, grass, light pine wood, a slight musk. Fruit notes include orange, tangerine, peach, a hint of strawberry, grape, some others that I can’t quite pin down. Medium to full bodied, creamy and slick texture, light soft carbonation. Aroma is much the same as the flavor, but the pine-and-grapefruit hoppiness comes through stronger than I expected from the aroma. Blend of fruit is still here, and a nice musty character that keeps it interesting. Long bitter finish. Very excellent.

Bomber to tulip. Pours a cloudy orange with a frothy off-white head. Smells of resiny hops, citrus, and sweet bread malts. Taste is much of the same with a clean bitter finish. MF is average with medium carbonation. Overall this is an enjoyable DIPA but a little heavier on the malt than I like.

Pours a murky orange, with a huge pillowy white creamy head that breaks apart like hot marshmallow. Lacing is superb. The nose is pineapple and the taste is true to the nose. Rich luscious pineapple is dominant. I love this beer! Super refreshing with just a touch of bitterness. 8.5abv is almost non-existent. Fantastic. After I finished the beer, thick foam lacing was left from top to bottom. What a great beer.

Aroma - Malty Appearance - Cloudy Amber, light head (looks like a wheat beer) Taste - hoppy Palate - Bitter and not as smooth as I would expect from a double IPA Overall - This tastes more like a Hoppy West Coast regular IPA; not nearly as smooth or malty as an Imperial IPA should be

Bomber. Super hoppy for a IPA. Light on citrus aroma. Light gold color with full off white head. Great lacing. Solid IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
