3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 kevinator (360) - The Colony, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2012
A nice sour. Nice fruity and floral aroma. It had a dark cider color with no head or lacing. The pucker factor was reduced and made this more drinkable than others on the extreme end of this style. I was able to detect the slight blueberry influence. It had an average palate feel with some weight. Easy to drink with food.

Sampled on tap at the Avery Taproom on 9/28/2012. This wild ale pours a medium ruby red color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, tart, fruity and sweet, with some blueberry and a touch of juniper. A medium bodied wild ale. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet with some blueberry. The hops are herbal. Nicely tart and a touch funky. Good carbonation. The tartness predominates but there is a nice explosion of blueberry flavor at the finish. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart.

On tap at Avery. App: burnt amber orange. 1 finger head, off white, dissipates quick, no lacing, small ring of bubbles at edge. Aroma: sour/tart fruit. Taste: acidic, fruity. Mouthfeel: carbonated, alcohol coating. Sour lingers in a good way. I like.
