Clear pale golden like a Pilsner with a foamy sticky head. Big spruce and pine aroma thatís bitter and earthy. Nice flavor but thereís a prominent woody and piney flavor throughout that kinda gets old fast. A bit leafy and herbal, with a earthy and spruce led bitterness.

On draft at the Avery Tap Room. Pours an orangish amber with a medium white head. Aroma of spruce, mild caramel malt, some floral notes. Spruce is dominating on the flavor, creating a sprucy bitterness with mild malt backing. Medium bodied, above average carbonation. This isnít really my jam.

Sample at the tap room/brewery. The beer is a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, biscuit malt and a touch of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft taster at the tasting room. Small flute like glass. Pours a light orange amber with a moderate head. Some lacing. Aroma is a mild pine forest. You get the spruce, but not terribly bold. The taste is moderate with pine, light musty hops, a cereal grain backbone. Light body, not much there overall.
