Naka (425), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA May 26, 2008 Bomber thanks to Nate. Very dark brown with a light beige head on it. Smells of fruity hops, a bit of a carbonic note, and cherries cooked in brown sugar. A rich smoky malt flavor. Dark fruit with some vanilla notes and a roasted coffee taste. Has a decent amount of richness. A lot of bitterness in the finish.

Es mas mi tipo MakeItDrinkIt (66), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 27, 2008 Dark brown in color with a medium light-brown head. Aroma is resinous hops and caramel. Flavor is malty - caramel, light toffee, and a kind of wierd resiny hop combo. A decent beer, but a littly wierd on the palate being a pine-caramel combination. Finish lingers with both of these flavors battling as they subside... uhre (290), Denmark Sep 18, 2008 Black beer with huge dark head. Aroma of hops and a lot of malt. The beer was not fresh so it didn’t have that much hop flavor. A great beer with a complex malt character.
