tap. cloudy copper. creamy and smooth texture when cold but develops typical Avery coarseness when warm. medium-full body, a bit too syrupy and sweet, herbal, floral and caramel-heavy, and yes, goopy. medium acid, medium hop bitterness, noble hop flavor character. caramel and reduced soured apricot flavors. faint caramel / floral nose. fuller than any saison should be. cherries are evident, giving it medium tartness and a light sour cream sourness. rose hips indistinct.

On tap @ Avery. Hazy light brownish orange with a tight creamy light beige head, with loads of lace. Big nose of banana and barley wheat with a sugary estery yeasty tone. Flavor is quite smooth and wheaty sweet. Citrusy fruity tones back up with a slightly spicy yeast funk. Pretty nice but nothing out of the ordinary

Draft at Avery Taphouse. Pours amber with a thin white head. You definitely get the saison vibe on the tongue bur also the sour cherry and a floral thing as well. I’m sad that one’s only available here.

On tap at Avery, poured hazy yellowish orange with nice white head. Aroma presented with notes of orange, lemon, caramel, some biscuit, light spices, other red fruit and a touch of floral in there. Taste is a really nice balance of flavors but I wish more of the rose come out, some nice fruity cherry, lemon, orange, touch of pear and apricot, balanced well by spice, toffee, and some biscuit and a hint of floral bitterness, finished dry. Nice brew!
