(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a small white head. Aroma of sweet tarts, caramel, light vinegar, vinous, and cherries. Flavor of cherry, sour apple, somewhat candish, herbs, and grass.

On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of citrus, cherry, carmel, horseblanket and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of carmel, fruitiness, horseblanket, leather and light spice with a crisp dry tart lingering funky finish.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, fizzy and bubbly off-white head, medium-short retention with fair lacing. Aroma is tart fruit (cherry, plum, raspberry), spices (cinnamon), vinous, and oak. Flavor is tart cherry and plum, wine, oak, light malt, old hops, and assorted spices. Medium body and warmth, low carbonation.

Tap @ Boulder SourFest. Red orange appearance with a cream colored head. Sour, vinous, red fruity, slightly spicy nose. Spicy, red fruity, moderately sour, caramel, vinous flavor.

draft. sweet cinnamon candies and maraschino cherry juice nose. medium-thick body, boozy / thick / syrupy and sweet artificial cherry flavoring with medium-light acid (mostly on the edges) which doesnít work at all with the full, rounded body. nose has some mild lacto fatty esters but itís mostly dominated by the sweet red apple skin and cherry juice malt.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazed amber hued body with a small off-white head. Aromas are spicy, biscuity, bready, vinous, barrel, currant and dark cherries. Flavors are lightly acetic, cherry, currant, funk, horseblanket, green apple jolly ranchers, and red wine. Lively bubbles, rich and funky.

Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2014, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, veggie, hints of acetic acid, some spice, yeast, touch of grain, slight red wine and fruit. Taste is red wine, fruit, toffee, hints of grass, hints of weird tart notes, finishing fairly tart, dry.

On draft at Falling Rock GABF weekend. Pours a reddish copper color with almost no head. The aroma is huge bitter and sour notes, fruity, some cherries. The flavor is very nice; woody, vinous, cherries, hot almost bourbon notes, vanilla, very tart but drinkable. Quite complex. Nice.

Draft @ taproom. Christmas candy peppermint red. Clear. Sweet, syrupy Maraschino juice in aroma. Flavors are better. Has nice nutty malt character at the foundation. Just a wee bit tart, like natural fruit tartness or sour cherry pie filling. Some cranberry. The candy sugar character is nice.
