COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dangerously drinkable garnet beauty is a hop lover’s delight. The intense dry-hop nose and the alcohol content are perfectly balanced for a caramel candy-like malt finish. This is a serious beer for serious beer afficionados and it only gets better with age. Cellarable for 3 years.

Orange body with almost no head. I make an effort to pour straight and a small head quickly disappears to let a sticky ring surround the glass. Big and intense hop aroma. I don't know if that's typical to Columbus hops, but it pretty much reminded me of sweat which the first sip confirmed. In mouth, I'm very disappointed with the weak palate. I expect more from a beer with that much ingredients (although the hop flavors' intensity are just overpowered and remove from the complexity). On the other hand, the malts are there to calm down those 100 IBUs and ensure a good drinkability, but WHERE IS THE BODY! Overall, very tasty, but with some glitches I couldn't really tolerate, especially in a barley wine, this seemed more of a double IPA. Enjoy hopheads. Thanks Mr Crvich.

Bomber pours a cloudy drk orange with a big but vanishing beige head and some lacing. Smells of pine, grass, and alcohol. Aroma is pretty much the same with caramel and light spices I can’t quite identify. Medium to full body without much carbonation. Texture is almost oily. Taste is on the bitter side with a long dry finish. This is perfect for a meal of hot barbecue or other spicy foods.

Pours a deep garnet with a cream colored head and decent lacing. Nose is grapefruit and syrup. Taste is red grapefruit and and rich malt. Extremely drinkable for the abv and pleasantly sweet. A malty hop bomb that doesn’t fail to impress.

Simply the best IPA Ive had in a while, oh wait it says barley wine, im confused! Fine brew , none the less, but none of that sweet creamy taste you may expect from a barley wine. So Hoppy its taste was a 100% IPA to me. would of been disapointed, but this is a fine brew and next time I want a beer with a spicey dish, will reach for this one.

Bottle pours dark orange brown head that goes away fast. Smells and tastes of caramel alchohal pine grass citrus. Malt. The smell and look give this beer higher rating just based in that great beer. Taste on other had is good all flavors mix well just a bit more hoppy then I’d like. Good beer like to try it a bit mellowed out a bit.

(bottle) Very cloudy red-copper body with a medium tan head. Wonderful aroma: sweet caramel malt; pine, and grass hops; lots of fruit, but I can’t really single them out; some spice, including a hint of spicy cinnamon; a touch of alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, medium soft carbonation. Alcohol is pronounced, warming; some spiciness (cinnamon again, and peppers), too. Grass hops, some grapefruit. Underlying caramelized sugar sweetness. But the bitterness and alcohol win out over sweetness. Long, very bitter finish.

Pours a dark orange color with an off white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit. Taste is like a sweet IPA with good balance of sweet malts and hoppy bitterness. A bit syrupy towards the end, but finishes smooth.
