COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dangerously drinkable garnet beauty is a hop lover’s delight. The intense dry-hop nose and the alcohol content are perfectly balanced for a caramel candy-like malt finish. This is a serious beer for serious beer afficionados and it only gets better with age. Cellarable for 3 years.

Split bomber. Pours copper with a small tan head. Aroma is all pine with a trace of malt. Taste is bitter with very little balance. Much more double IPA than barleywine. Awesome!

Deep mahogany pour, fluffy white head that lasts throughout the entirety of the drinking experience. Leaves great lacing. Beautiful looking beer. Aroma is super piney, super astringent, really dank. Slight ETOH burn. Nice. Rich malty sweetness is e foundation, but the dank, bitter hops shine here. Thick, chewy mouthfeel. Really good.

Pours murky dark amber with a small ring of off white head. Big resiny dry hop aroma tos of caramel. The hops are spicy and provide a sharp prickly zing which cuts the immense malt level. Chewy like caramel candy laced with peppery hops.

BOTTLE. Ruby pour with good foamy off white head.. Subtle pink musk nose, Worcestershire sauce as well??.. Thick sappy caramel malt body that lingers, sweet &hoppy finish, yet solid bitterness that lasts.. Sourced RW

Bomber. Pours hazy orange-brown with a good-sized beige head. Rose tea, plums, cherry, and flowers in the nose. Taste is cocoa, plums and cherries, raisins, chocolate, light rose finish. Tasty! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home, a year old. Pours out an amber colored liquid with a beige head, great retention and nice lacing. Nose is very hoppy with pine apple, mango and, ripe orange and orange zest. Lots of warming caramel, dried fruits, alcohol, toffee, biscuits vanilla and hints of milk chocolate. Full bodied, smooth palate initially, with a drier and bitter taste towards mid-taste. Taste is fruity and hoppy with loads of caramel & toffee that balances. Flavors alos of red apples, apricots, overripe mango, oranges, subtle milk chocolate, vanilla and oak. Aftertaste is bitter with orange zest, grapebruits, bicuits and nuttyness. Long duration.

22 oz bottle at home on 4th July 2016. Really enjoyed this: wife didn’t like her sample, so had to drink the whole bottle myself. Mahogany coloured brew, off-white topping. Hops rule the roost here with an alcohol presence that adds to the flavouring nicely. Semi-sweet tropical fruitiness oozes through the more bitter hops and the malty base creeps into the mouth also. A beer I would gladly have again and again.

This is a beast. A lot of hop and acidic alcohol to start off with. Then the Barley Wine starts to find its familiar place with the caramel, dried fruit and some oak notes. A bit unbalanced but I like it!

Bottle, 650ml. A cloudy dark amber beer with a small head. Aroma is of wood, spices, chestnuts and alcohol. Taste is bitter with faint carbonation and some astrigency. Heavy and with a strong floral alcoholic finish. Feels somewhat rusty, but it is very nice.
