Bottle. Pours light brown with head that retains. Kind of malty but with some hop bite. Bottle could be old as it had dust on it in the store. Not sure if I would purchase more.

Bottle @ Cask Pub and Kitchen in London. Pours a hazy copper color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with alot of pine along with some faint citrus notes. I also get a solid malt backbone, with alot of caramel malts. The flavor is quite hoppy with alot of pine mixed with the citrus and some grapefruit, along with the caramel maltiness. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice IPA, that is kind of a blend of an East and West coast IPA, though it mostly leans toward an East coast IPA.

Can into a pint glass. Golden color with a slight copper hint. Has a good foamy white head that leaves some lacing. Lots of citrus aromas. The taste is unbalanced, not a lot of malts present here. The aftertaste is very bitter, and it just isn’t that appealing to me. Medium to light bodied. The can may have affected this a bit, but it just really doesn’t seem to go down quite right. If it wasn’t for the off taste, it would be a great beer that I could drink all day.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2011 Nice sweet taste mixing all kinds of hop styles. Kind of watery. Good, albeit standard (hence boring) ipa.

Fruity and citrusy hops dominates the smell of the head. A grapfefuit aroma eminates from the head. Golden amber with sheer white head that disappears. Super floral hops with an amazing sweet sour combination with a grassy finish. Palate is slightly resenous with light traces of carbonation and a long, tasteful finish. Overall, one of Colorados top IPAs.

Bottle at GB. Golden clear, nice white head. Smells of pine, wood and malts. Taste is very malty with alot of sweetness. Much pine there. Finish is ok bitter with some hops. Pine hops are not my favorite really

Bottle and draft. I just recently got back into this one. What a wonderful IPA. Citrus/grapefruit notes on the first sip, with an amazing mix of malt/hop bit on the finish. WONDERFUL IPA. Reminds me of a West Coast IPA, which I’m a big fan of. Highly recommended. Seek it out!

Very nice. I am impressed. Awesome malt to hop ratio and the hops chosen are a perfect blend. The color is mild golden amber. The aroma is right on, hoppy, hay, and sweetness from a few nice malts. Taste is amazing, clean crisp and refreshing, with a raw, earthy spiced hop flavor with enough malt to balance but not overwhelm. Great job

Pours clear burnt golden with a bubbly, off white head that persists. Notes of citrus, pine hops, wheat, barley, herbal malts on the nose. Green leafy and earthy notes open up onto a smooth palate with medium carbonation. Hop bomb bitterness though grassy. Almost reminding young something you shouldn’t eat. Well done and distinctive.

Tap @ the brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is fresh bitter hops, grapefruit and orangepeel. Taste is floral and fruity hops, again grapefruit, kiwi, lemonlike finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very nice and refreshing IPA. 270311
