COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

12oz bottle off the singles rack at Dobby’s Liquor World. Pours clear golden with white head. Aromasof citrus, pine, and hops. Flavor of mostly citrus and bitter hops with some pine and malt. Finishes with bitter hops. This is the perfect example of your standard IPA. Cannot believe I have not rated this before.

(12oz bottle). Pours a light yellow liquid with a good sized head. Nice, citrusy aroma-more lemon that grapefruit. Bitterness is not overpowering, but does linger in the finish. As it warms, it becomes more balanced with a subtle sweetness. A good IPA. I’d like more citrus notes to consider it excellent. On the low end of APV for IPAs
