3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
6 pack from the in-laws. Can pours golden amber capped by a slight off white head with good retention. Plenty of lacing to leave evidence. Nose of grapefruit and tangerine. Taste is fairly well balanced for the style, although is does leans towards the bitter side. Pine and grapefruit on top of a solid malt backbone. Body is medium to light. This is quite a well constructed IPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours clear orange with a large white head. Smells of citrus, hints of pine. Taste is bitter, juicy citrus, hints of maltiness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Avery IPA finishes with a lingering juiciness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good aroma but hop flavor is somewhat overpowered by maltiness. Certainly decent, but there are better IPAs, no question.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Did not like. Malt flavor was off. Hop character was missing in quality and quantity. Can’t say that I like Avery beers.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy gold. Decent head dissipates quickly to skim. Aroma of trop fruits, pine and fresh citrus. Taste is peach, mango, pine, caramel malts and OJ. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish bitterness lasts well. Good canned IPA.

Can. It pours hazy deep golden with a dense cream like head. The aroma is floral and citric with notes of pine. Underlying bready malty notes. Nice floral hoppy flavor. Good bitterness and good malty balance.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Incredibly bitter beer in both aroma and flavor. OK bitterness which fills the anterior and upper part of the mouth for a long time. Far from what my taste buds like. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Old rating: Pours golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is bitter hops, with pine and orange peel, as well as some roasted malts, and a touch of oak. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is citrusy hops with grapefruit and orange peel, as well as a good roasted malt backbone. Lingering bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gold in color with an ivory head and is very cloudy. This beer is very hoppy with grapefruit notes. It has a medium body and is rather soft.
