3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerLimey (2112) - California, USA - JAN 2, 2004
Extremely clear, light copperish appearance, decent head formation. Strong hoppy aroma, fruit punch an citrus. Sweet lemony flavor at first, mild shortbread notes but really not a lot of malt. Orangey sweetness with a strong citiric bite in the finish, with a long lingering bitterness.

Pours a medium copper color with a nice full white head. Smells of pine needles and citrus. Tastes citrusy, with a grapefruit prominence. Very similar to stone ipa and bells two hearted ale, yet lacking in the bite that those 2 have. Overall, an excellent ipa.

Bottled. Medium golden color upon pouring. Forest like piney aroma. Lots of bitterness. Piney bitterness up front. Quite spicy as well. Some citric qualities are present. A rather bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2005 Large white head. Frothy on top with good carbonation. Nice lacing. Great aroma. Very fruity hops with a excellent mix of peaches and pears. Could sit here and smell it all night. But what fun would that be. Color is a medium golden orange. Light bodied. Crisp and smooth with a great balance. Plenty of hops in there. Bitterness shows up at the finish and lingers for a while. More fruit in the flavor. Very easy drinking. An excellent IPA.

Draught. HUGE hoppy aroma, spruce and pine. That carried into the flavour, but a little lighter. The hop tastes were more citrus hops and easy to drink. Pretty nice lacing. Well balanced IPA.

Pours a bright, but cloudy orange colour- head is fairly large- white and floral. Nice citrusy character, soft and piney but typicaly hopped. My only complaint about this brew is- there’s nothing exciting about it. Pretty standard for the most part. Nothing unique, lots of hops and fruit but basic overall.
