COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

Had at The Pub in Pembroke Pines, FL. Purs a nice gold color, no real head. Aroma is citrus, hops, floral. Taste is hoppy and malty and the bitterness is present but not lingering. Nice beer overall.

Film of head, decent lacing. Amber clear color, nose of nice floral hops, fresh & crispy, maybe some caper note? Taste malty, balanced with a mild bitterness amount. Some chocolatey malt & more bitterness seeps through, very balanced & tasty.

Pours a copper colour with a huge hoppy aroma that is citrusy, floral and a bit piney. Flavour is likewise with a bit of malt. Very nice

This poured a clear golden color with a healthy white head. The hoppy aroma is mainly of orange rinds with a little bit of the floral. Tasty medium mouthfeel. There’s a solid nutty malt backbone with some serious grapefruit and orange bitterness. The finish is much less bitter than the taste had me expecting. Good IPA.
