COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

Still smiling from the novelty of drinking Avery beer from a can. So I’m a consumer. Sue me. If only I had a bottle to do a side-by-side. Bitter but not too much so, citrus-tinted but with enough of a pine-straw finish to assure its IPA-dom. Gorgeous, too, bright orange-gold and clear. Always a good go-to beer in a clutch situation; Avery IPA is sweet enough to please the meek, but the lingering dry finish is all hophead.

A very smooth IPA, with a great aroma full of fruit and grass. Just about perfect bitterness. Love it!

Citrusy, hoppy aroma. Pours light brownish orange, with thin head. Taste is citrus and bitter and hoppy. Very nice. Palate is thin, biting. Very nice IPA.

This is a bit too dry to be an easy drinking session beer. Consumed with food is probably the best way to go. This beer is well crafted. I imagine it tastes exactly like the brewer wanted it to taste. It isn’t my favorite beer, but I appreciate the quality.

Nice IPA well balanced... has some hops... but unique.... Not too bitter... but definitly not on the sweet side. Very enjoyable for the IPA
