COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

Bottle: Strong fruity, floral bouquet that merges into distinct IPA bitterness. Full body and complex palate, makes this one very enjoyable.

Gorgeous bottle. Like all of the world contained in the bottle. Also--fantastic beer, one of the most incredible IPAs I’ve had in a long long time. Rosy and flowery to the taste, aroma, mouth, but still has a heart of hops. Well done.

Never gave a 10 on the aroma...but what the hell am I waiting for? This one really is a good balance and brovides an incredibly floral aroma. Wonderfully smooth. The best IPA I have tried.

Lightly chilled. Very light copper color. Big Hops aroma on the piney side. Surprising mouthfell much thicker that the color suggests. On the edge of resinous, which, for me, is perfection. Very little malt presence and would almost seem to be an APA if the hops were more citric. One of the most drinkable IPAs I have had and a personal favorite for session-type ales.

Pours a clear copper, two finger ivory dense and rocky head. Chunky lace. Smells of big hops. Citrusy, tangerine and orange rind. Nice malt taste and sweet citrus hops followed quickly by the strong bite of bitterness. Long lingering herbal bitterness. Very drinkable. Tasty IPA one of the better I’ve had in awhile.

This is an excellent IPA! NIce and hoppy, very strong, but not overwhelming. I really like it!

Bottle. Golden color. Floral hop aroma. This was surprisingly and pleasantly malty for an IPA without lacking hop presence. A nice herbal, grassy, hop flavor with a clean malt finish. One of the best IPA’s I’ve had.
