COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

This was my first IPA, and it certainly won’t be my last. It poured a birght, cloudy orange/golden color with a fluffy, thick head. The aroma was very nice, it had a little bit of a citrus zest, maybe a hint of floral in there. The taste was wonderful. It was slightly citrusy, and had a nice bite to it from the hops. It had a sharp, bitter, dry finish. This was a very drinkable, nice brew, and I was certainly impressed. I will indeed be getting more of this stuff.

Poured clear, bright orange. An inch and a half of pale, buttermilk colored head held for 5 minutes. Very warm aroma of spicy hops and caramelized grains. Moderately carbonated and mildly acidic, for an IPA, it’s medium bodied with a slightly sweet finish. I rated that way because it’s delicious and true to the label.

Wow! This is the best IPA I’ve tasted from a bottle. Awesome pour, color, white 3 finger head with tons of retention + lacing. Fresh hops as soon as the cap popped. Aroma, aroma,aroma.... Hops + malt balance is the perfect IPA balance. Nuff said, I’m gettin another.

Could not be happier to go out to lunch today, see a list of horrible beers at my restaurant, only to have this gem thrown in the middle. Pours an apricot orange with a small white frothy head. Nice flowerr, hoppy, sweet scent, and the flavor was great. It had enough hops, but also had a unique sweet flowery maltiness that many IPA’s tend to avoid when they get in the "hoppy" mindset. Nice on the palate, excellent beer, will buy again for sure when I see it.

Pours a golder amber clear color with a little lacing and a small white head. Aroma is pine hops and grass. The taste is unusually smooth and creamy for an ipa. It has a very nice balance of piney hops and a light amount of malt. Very good and easy to drink.

Difficile de la présenter mieux que ça: Voici la petite cousine de la Dugana...Le houblon ne tombe jamais bien loin de l’arbre.

Very nice IPA. Wonderful hoppy floral nose. Beer pours large fluffy white head with tons of lacing. Flavor is excellent with nice hoppy, skunk bud flavor. Great IPA which is underrated in my opinion.
