3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On cask at the Petrol Station in Houston. Avery has a lot of experience casking this beer, and I think itís probably the most common cask in Texas - the Austin Flying Saucer seems to have it at least once a month. The color is somewhere between straw yellow and light amber, with an eggshell head. Surprisingly clear for a cask - itís bright. The nose has pineapple, a little grassy tone, and a bit of citrus rind. The flavor as a whole is fairly dry for an IPA, with a fairly distinct bitterness - it honestly sticks out a little. Not much sweetness to be found in this one. Iím really not sure whether to call it a hop-centric beer or an unbalanced beer. Overall, itís not bad, and itís certainly good for quenching one of those hop cravings we beer lovers seem to get from time to time.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden pour with a single finger head. Lots of lace. Aroma is a little flat and muted. This can isnít overly fresh. Light mouth. Taste is a little muted too. Kind of watery. Some citrus, but all in the background. A little bitterness at the end to round this out. Not a huge fan of this, but could have been an old can.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, pine, like a good ipa. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

A dry light beer with a faint citrus flavor. The hops are a little over the top compared to other IPAís.

Can - Slightly cloudy gold color. Typical dry hop flavor with more of a citrus flavor then others. On the palate the hops lingers a long while.

Burk på Oliver Twist.
Klar mörkgul vätska med fint skum.
Doftar blommigt och av citrus.
Bra balans mellan malten och humlen, kanske lite frän humlebeska om man ska vara kinkig.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy gold, nice two finger head with loads of lacing and retention. Aroma of grapefruit, wildflower and pine. Taste is perfectly balanced starting bitter with a nice sweet malt under belly. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, sticky mouth feel. Finishes complex with notes of grapefruit, herbs, melon, spruce and resin. Dries nicely in the "bitter" end. This is an awesome IPA.
