COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1700’s one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado’s hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

This ipa poured a slightly cloudy, medium yellow colour with a soapy, bright white, minimal head. Scents include sour milk, grass and dough. First taste was very hoppy with flavours of sweet malts, spruce and grass with a little caramel. Finish is bitter with hoppy cereal flavours lingering.

A very solid and well rounded IPA. Light pour, hoppy aroma. Smooth and sweet mouthfeel and middle. Hops at the finish. Moderate alcohol.

Clear golden pour with a single finger head. Lots of lace. Aroma is a little flat and muted. This can isn’t overly fresh. Light mouth. Taste is a little muted too. Kind of watery. Some citrus, but all in the background. A little bitterness at the end to round this out. Not a huge fan of this, but could have been an old can.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, pine, like a good ipa. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, orange, grass, biscuit and some earthy notes. The taste was of pine, grass, light grapefruit, orange and some biscuit. Nice.

A dry light beer with a faint citrus flavor. The hops are a little over the top compared to other IPA’s.

Can - Slightly cloudy gold color. Typical dry hop flavor with more of a citrus flavor then others. On the palate the hops lingers a long while.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker glass. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium rocky white head. Citrus nose, with fresh grass, some yeast and vanilla. Light malt flavors, juicy citrus hops, hi bitterness and faint yeast. Medium body, dry, long bitter finish, soft carbonation.

Nice and easy drinking. No foam. Taste stays for a while. Quite nice for an IPA :-)

Burk på Oliver Twist. Klar mörkgul vätska med fint skum. Doftar blommigt och av citrus. Bra balans mellan malten och humlen, kanske lite frän humlebeska om man ska vara kinkig. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy gold, nice two finger head with loads of lacing and retention. Aroma of grapefruit, wildflower and pine. Taste is perfectly balanced starting bitter with a nice sweet malt under belly. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, sticky mouth feel. Finishes complex with notes of grapefruit, herbs, melon, spruce and resin. Dries nicely in the "bitter" end. This is an awesome IPA.
