Great aroma - you can tell you’ve got a good beer... lemony, continental hops, malty, a little sulphur. Clear and yellow, tapioca white head, great can. Hops are well-brewed, very light diacetyl, mineral flavors. Body is a bit on the light side, the beer seems to lose carbo some, but the mouthfeel is frothy. Lingering hops at the end. An interesting brew. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Can from Beer World Catskill. Pours pale yellow with a bit of haze. thick white head. Nose of hop and hay. Hay and citric hop in body. Bitter and light. Refreshing to bit over bitter which mellows as beer warms. Nice. Fine sandy lacing all about vacated glass.

Comes out of the can a clear, bright, bubbly solar yellow with a thick and rather persistent snow-white head. Crisp, malty aroma has a sweet and fruity overtone, mainly pear. Flavor is crisp and malty with a grassy hoppy undertone and more than a hint of fruit. Smooth texture has good body and a fine fizz. A satisfying pilsner.

I don’t like lagers. Not knowing this, my wife got this for me. I’m glad I tried it, because it’s the best lager I’ve ever had. Hoppy, with a great floral aroma. I’d still rather have an IPA, but this wasn’t bad.

PorterPounder (4610) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz can. Pours a sparkling light golden, tight white head, bit of lacing. Aroma is kind of meaty, a hint of hair tonic as well - a bit off-putting. Flavor has some honey sweetness, a bit of graininess, a bit of that weird meatiness I noted in the aroma, a bit of a buttery back end. Crisp mouthfeel.

Can shared a tasting at LiBira pub. Pours light yellow with a nice head, aroma of mango, pineapple and some leaves, flavor is bitter and refreshing with some herbs, fruits, malt, pretty nice with medium body
