Experience a contemporary rendition of a classic style. Hopped with purpose, Joe’s is beautifully bitter and dry with an abundance of floral, noble German hops.

Very light color, nose and palette. Aggressive acidity keeps it refreshing and light. Pretty easy drinker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, shared by me... in the library... just now.
Pours a pale yellow color, hazy, with a big head and nice lacing on the glass.

It’s got a nice floral and lightly citrusy aroma. Some light sweetness and soft doughiness in there, pretty nice smelling really.

The flavor is dry, nicely bitter... maybe a touch of aspirin going on... but otherwise it’s a floral & herbal hoppiness that dominates the flavor of the beer. The malt is subdued but has a very nice crispness to it.

This is just fine

Can from Humlen Ølutsalg, Bergen. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nose is minerals, grass, red berries and hints of hay and pilsener malts. Taste is pilsener malts, straw, bread dough and hints of grass and faint red berries. Light, crisp body, medium to high carbonation. Classic pilsener with no big surprises; clean and well brewed. Refreshing.

According to Avery, Joe’s Pilsener is a contemporary American Pils -- does that mean more hops? If so, Joe’s definitely delivers. Pils malt is clean and bready. The German nobles are herbaceous, floral, grassy, and citrusy. Finish has lingering bitterness. There seem to be lots of hoppy Lagers on the market now, but you won’t catch me complaining.
