Experience a contemporary rendition of a classic style. Hopped with purpose, Joe’s is beautifully bitter and dry with an abundance of floral, noble German hops.

This beer looks and tastes like what you would expect from a Pilsener, it is nothing truly outstanding, but it does the style justice Pours yellow with minimal head and no lacing. It has a husky/grassy taste to it and is a full-bodied beer.

17th May 2015: 12oz can at a BBQ in Newport Beach, California. Typical pilsner/lager look, clear golden body with a fading white head. Hoppy, bitter and dry. I prefer sweeter, maltier brews but this was refreshing and easy to drink. Went fine with my Bratwurst.

Tap. Pours clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is bit sweet. Taste is sharp, malty, sweetness ( sugar?) some hoppyness but very fake to me.

Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma has some light malt and hint of noble hops. The flavor is sweet and rather plain. Bitterness adds some balance.

12 Oz can pour. Pours a pale yellow with a thin head. Nice grainy noodle like aroma. I’m starting to like pilsner a lot more, and this one is pretty good. Light and refreshing with some good flavor to it. Can drink this one a ton. Good stuff.

"i definitely am a fan of noble hopped pilsners. this is a touch shy of sammy noble in that it is slightly more herbal and thinner. but the flavor and aroma of grassy hops and crisp maltiness are nice."

12oz can pours a slightly cloudy yellow with smallish white head. Aroma is pils malt and some hops. This flavor even though its on for style guide just doesn’t have that crispness that you expect for a pils. Rather disappointed with this one.

Transfer from BA review on 9-23-12- Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Served a lighter clear golden color with a small white head. The head faded relatively fast to leave only a light amount of lacing. Smell – Overall it was quite light. The aroma was of a bready nature with hints of a herbal nature as well as some citrus hop. Taste – The taste begins with a bready taste mixed with some lemon citrus hop flavor. There is a lighter caramel sweetness up front that is soon lost more toward the middle of the taste as a herbal hop flavor greets the tongue. At the end, a grapefruit citrus hop takes over the herbal and blends with the bready flavors to leave a crisp and bitter flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to lighter side with a carbonation level that is slightly above average. Good for the style. Overall - Rather flavorful for the lighter abv. but retaining a nice taste profile. Quite nice and easy drinking.

Can at Craig’s. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, grassy, citrus, sherbet, parma violets and grain. The taste is crisp, lightly toasty, straw, grassy, light citrus and a touch of paper with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and quaffable.

(can - 12 oz) Pale gold pour with a fizzy white head. Floral and grassy hop aroma. Bitter and floral hop flavor with a dry and bitter aftertaste.
