COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

12oz bottle from Binnys Orland Park. Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is of malt, yeast, dark fruit, sugar, and wheat. Taste is of malt, apples, yeast, sugar, and wheat. The beer is a strange mix of assorted fruit and earthy flavors. Lingering fruity taste. Tastes very unbalanced. This beer is not in any way good. I don’t even know what else to say about it’s suckiness.

Tasted as part of the Avery Experience at Brouwer’s. Pours the color of a highland scotch whiskey with a small head. Malty, fruity, with a nice aroma, but with a weak flavor. Slightly tinny, and it really lacks punch. Almost like a premium version of a macro lager.

Pretty typical americanized belgian. Slightly fruity/estery nose with some hints of malt. Flavor is light with fruit esters, yeast and faint hints of malt. Nothing really impressive.

Bottle at Kuma’s. Pours a nice golden copper with fluffy dissipating head. NOse sucks at first, plastic and DMS. Fortunately, that goes away and leaves you with a kiss of citrus, corn and malt. Taste is better, actually thought Kolsch at first. Not a whole lot going on in this one...

This one is more of a brown citrus ale. Not too bad of a brew, It’s just not my type. If I were a fan of this one, I’d like it, I can tell that.

Nice clear copper pour with a disappearing head, aroma is very malty, taste starts a bit bitter then sweet with caramel, finishes crisp and dry, nothing really sets it apart from others.

Decent head initially, but it doesn’t leave a lot of lace. Copper color but quite clear for the style. Clean, lighter grain malty aroma. Light alcohol and a scent of Belgian yeast in the background. Stronger yeast flavor than the aroma would indicate. Raw grain base with a mild hop that doesn’t really give much bitterness. The body is as expected.
