4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cybercat (1735) - Georgia, USA - MAR 31, 2007
On tap, this comes out a lovely honey-golden color with a nice head. Aroma has fruity hints. Excellent flavor provides undertones of fruitiness, and is hoppy but not bitter though it has a bit of a nip. This ale is very smooth and a pleasure to drink.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 29, 2007
A dark copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. A doughy malt aroma with a bit of c-hops, and light pîneapple. In mouth, a dissapointing ale, with notes of cardboard, caramel, no spiceyness or yeast...boring for the style. Bottle from BOTW, Sept. 2006.

Bottle. Mild aroma of tropical fruit, yeast, and sweet malt. Flavors are pretty much the same, with a hint of bready malt flavor. Still pleasant on a warm day.

copper color with some rocky head than dissipates quickly lacing the glass. theres some rye-bread-malt flavor with some orange with a tinge of grapefruit, and some pine. a little funk but nothing great. i dont think this tastes a lot like a belgian anything.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sheatripper (863) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 20, 2007
Bottle. Clear amber/orange with a thick and craggy, but foamy head. Striped lacing. Aroma of cookie malt, honey, orange, with some wet newspaper. Off-sweet bready malt with orange peel and a trace of cheese rind at the end. A fair amount carbonation. Drinkable, but there seems like a few things are missing.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jabswitch (273) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 17, 2007
12 oz. bottle. Was kind of anxious about tasting this one. After first taste, was surpised this was classified a Belgian ale. Very non descript. Almost more of a lager taste than a Belgian Ale. If I tasted this one totally blind, I would say it was slightly above average for a lager. I have 5 more bottles in the cooler and I think they will be there for awhile. A good beer for company!
