Gives of a nice malty first taste. Flavors of fruit and some spice, I detect a wee bit of peach in it. I fould this very drinkable and enjoyable.

The immigrates from the 12-ounce brown bottle a crystal clear deep copper color with a portly semi-creamy head that is light tan in color. Nose has nice malt sweetness, fruity with hints of caramel and hay, fresh and clean, with the start slightly sweet and the grain profile pleasant, top is middling in feel. Finish is moderately carbonated and the hop delectable in their spiciness, very dry aftertaste that lingers long on the palate, a nice drinking beer and one I could enjoy often.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bigsilky (325) - Charleston, USA - MAY 5, 2005
Not a very exciting beer. However, it has a warming orange hue and a frothy head that almost hangs around long enough. Nice hop balance, the beer has a little citrus spice but nothing over the top. For a highly quaffable yet bodied ale I think it’s great. If I knew that a kegerator wouldn’t be the destruction of me, this would make it’s way into the rotation. As far as a comparison to a Belgian Farmhouse?....

Pours a nice light orange color with a nice white head. Has some citrus aroma and flavor to it. A nice brew indeed.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 TChrome (1326) - Bedford, Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2005
Beer pours golden orange color with a medium sized slowly dissipating off white head. Aroma is orange, bit of hops with some light spiciness and yeastiness. Flavor is a but underwhelming. This is Avery? They may have been shooting for subtlety, however, I think they achieved mediocrity with this one. Flavor is very lightly fruity, no esters are detected by my palate and maybe just a hint of yeast. This one needs to be notched up a bit.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 matta (1140) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2005 New beer in Town!
Pours a boldly bronzed body and an amazingly full cream colored head. The beer has a large arrangement of fruity and malty esters... A truckload of Mango… plums, apricot, peach, red apple, mandarin oranges, accompanied by some toasted honey wheat bread. There is a hint of molasses backed by an exceptionally earthy and grassy addition... lightly hoppy… very chewy and crisp in the finish… An exceptionally nice summer session seasonal… that 6er worked nicely for last nights BBQ!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 cb (810) - Roeland Park, Kansas, USA - APR 30, 2005
Very fruity and lush aroma, very spritzy. Bit of pineapple. Somewhat watery and leafy with lemon zest and sugar mixed in. Best part about it is the finish, love the slightly chewy wheat/biscuit/oat blend.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 KAggie97 (3285) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - APR 29, 2005
Pours amber and thin, with very little head. Aroma is medium-strong hops, but like Rick Astley’s career, it fades into nothingness very quickly. Taste is quite fruity, with hints of raspberry and banana. Nice lacing around the glass. I suspect this is more of an Amber with a desire to be a Belgian Ale. Good stuff, however; but not the best Avery has put out.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 biz82 (1328) - austin, Texas, USA - APR 24, 2005
Copper colored and clear with a thin but creamy white head. Interesting aroma of spice and fruit and butterscotch. Big in body and rather sweet with flavors of bubblegum, a little banana, caramel, some tartness. A touch of bitterness in the finish. Alcohol is too obvious for such a moderate ABV. Somewhat one dimensional for the style but still well balanced and distinct. Enough going on to keep you interested.
