COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Bottle from the Slayer at the Jimmack invitational gathering. Golden, clear, white head. Malty, fruity, light alcohol,, and vege aroma. Light malt and spice flavor with a dry bland finish. Not all that great...

Bottle: Lots of orange in the aroma with a light hoppiness and some yeastiness. Pours a transparent amber with a small white head that diminishes quickly. Very light. Orange is there like in the aroma, but I would say the flavor is more fruity. Light caramel and hops in the finish. Orange flavor linger into the aftertaste. Very thin. Avery makes some very good beers, but this is not one of them.

This poured an orangish straw color. Had a medium sized white head with nice sized and plentiful carbonation. The aroma is fruity sweet with caramel like malt, also some sticky candy and corn notes. The flavor is flowery with some spicy yeastiness. There is bitter grapefruit peal and very light Belgian sweetness deep down. Some sourdough bread also. Interesting combo. Body is light and bright on the tongue (medium body). Not the best but drinkable.

Interesting brew - reminds me of a witte, but no, reminds me of a light Belgian, but no, reminds me of....shoot, I don’t know. I’m not sure what they were trying for here - it’s a nice light summer brew, clear goldeen, short head, some lacing. Aroma is slightly spicy and malty. Taste is "Belgian", some spices, lightly sweet, finish is more dry. Overall, it’s a nice satisfying hot weather brew.

So this is the "saison" the Avery guy mentioned in the interview on ratebeer a while back. Well, its not. This has a nice fuity, apricot aroma. It has a sweetish, fruit malts with some herbal hops. Basically, this is like an english pale ale but with some Belgianish malts. Interesting.

An interesting little beer. Kinda hard to tell what they were going for- I don’t get a whole lot of the "farmhouse" aspects that I would expect. Yet, it is really mild in the "belgian" department- not overly "boozy" tasting. But very drinkable and I am glad I got a six pack.

Thanks to Kevin for the bottle. Pours a deep yello tinged orange color. Effervescent white head fades gently. Sweet malt aromatics complement yeast ester smells of peach and citron. Somewhat watery nose, then blends into some uninspired flat malt flavors. This is perked up by slowly emerging ester hints of banana, peach, and currants. Slightly yeast spicy finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and never becomes to heavy or sticky.

Gives of a nice malty first taste. Flavors of fruit and some spice, I detect a wee bit of peach in it. I fould this very drinkable and enjoyable.

The immigrates from the 12-ounce brown bottle a crystal clear deep copper color with a portly semi-creamy head that is light tan in color. Nose has nice malt sweetness, fruity with hints of caramel and hay, fresh and clean, with the start slightly sweet and the grain profile pleasant, top is middling in feel. Finish is moderately carbonated and the hop delectable in their spiciness, very dry aftertaste that lingers long on the palate, a nice drinking beer and one I could enjoy often.
