3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 TomDecapolis (4007) - Skippack, USA - JUL 24, 2005
On draft at the Blue Dog. Poured a golden amber with a thin off white head. Tastes of various fruits, picked up some apricot at the end. This was served a little too cold to pick up the aroma and all the flavor. Didn’t have time to let it warm up more.

Taster @ Chuck’s. Very uninteresting and decidedly untasty belgian. This is probably the first Avery beer I actually didn’t like. Incredibly bitter and weird.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 robloc303 (40) - Erie, Colorado, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Pours a deep Gold, with a decent head. The nose has heavy malts, chocolate, brown sugar and nuts. The taste is where you get the style of a Belgian Ale. Belgian yeast and caramel malts right away. A little bitter on the finish, but this is a really well made beer! Not sure why is is rated so low?...
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ajax14 (1) - Iowa City, Alabama, USA - MAY 17, 2012 does not count
Average Belgian-style pale. Weak palate, low ester, not hoppy enough. Bland.

I got this as part of a M&M 6pk at Everett’s in South Beloit, IL for $9.99 in Early 2012.
Pours a golden amber color with a bubbly off white head. Not much of a scent other then some hints of grains as nothing stands out. Texture is smooth and creamy. Wheats and sweet citrus tickle your taste buds. Some hints of coriander and banana are evident as well. A good refreshing drink that is what I consider to be a high end Blue Moon beer. A great summertime drink.
