We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we’ve created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here’s to being good!

Bottle. Clear orange body with light white head and lace. Mild fruity aroma, maybe apricot or lemon, wheat, yeast, touch of pepper. I’m not sure what kind of Belgian style this is going for, but it tastes to me like a wheat/saison hybrid, leaning heavily towards the wheat side. Watery body giving way to a lingering lemon and wheat finish. Lively carbonation. It might be cool if they renamed this karma chameleon ale and put Boy George on the bottle. Maybe not.

Lazy, hazy, amber/copper beneath a short, off-white head. Aroma and flavor suggest something went wrong by revealing initial cooked vegetables. Additional fruity notes from the yeasts with banana above weak caramel malts. Alcohol dries the mouth sharply after a buttery feel and lingers with sourness. Maybe I’ve just got some <a href=http://www.barlowz.net/extra/rimshot.wav>< Karma...

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber with a small, white head. Malty, vaguely caramelish nose. Medium-bodied, some caramel malt and a whiff of yeast. Mostly reminds me of a semi-boring Amber Ale. 150506

Bottle. Pours a clear light orange body with a large fluffy white head. The aroma is fruity, sourish bread, and cookies. Kind of a blend between a saison and a bland American Pale - mild spicy hops, soft banana and other fruits, and some breadiness. Medium body. Kind of boring but it’s drinkable.

Bottled. Pours a cloudy orangey copper color with a medium-sized white head which leaves a fair bit of lacing. Smells a bit yeasty with some indiscernable spice to it. Super bland, almost tastes like toasted-tea-soda. Light carbonation. Blaaah!

Golden brown, with a thick loose head. A full wheaty, malty, yeasty aroma. I can smell sour apples in there as well. Medium body without much flavor. A bit disappointing after the aroma.

Bottle. An amber color with a white head. A very lightly spiced aroma with caramel. A musty caramel malt flavor, bready, Only the mild hint of Belgian spices could tip this off as a Belgian Ale.

This ale pours a nice medium amber color with a slightly foamy head. Not much of an aroma but a pleasant mild hoppy flavor with a hint of malt. Somewhat of a tart lemony after taste. Not bad, basically what I expected.

Bottle. Brownish amber color, minimal head. Aroma is subtle but has notes of caramel malt, lemon, yeast and wet cardboard. Flavor is heavy on the caramel malt with a bit of an astringent note in the background. Lemon is there, too, but it is mild and has a bit of the lemon peel bitterness to it.

An ok brew, but it was lacking alot on flavor, abit watery, somewhat fruity, but not great, drinkable, but not worth seeking out, was excited to try this one, left me dissapointed.
