Smell is mostly light toasty grain and slightly sour citrus. Flavor is very bland biscuity with the carbonation floating an apricot spritz around your mouth, ending with the sour citrus again. Mouthfeel is balanced throughout temp but comes off slimy as it warms. Weird to me, I don’t hate it but can’t imagine buying it again. Thanks Avery. 2009 12 oz.

Pours murky copper orange with white head. Spice and toast on the nose. Some citrus, spice, malts, honey, and a hint on hops. Med-light body. Not very spicy, not very hoppy. It is a little weak in those points, but refreshing and not bad.

My favorite summer seasonal brew from my favorite Colorado brew. Beer has a wonderfully balanced taste for a pale ale, and has a decent enough abv to where you can drink two or three beers without being three sheets.

I love Avery but this beer is not very well balanced, it lacks in maturity.

poured into a tulip. Pours a nice dark orange color with a small head that disappears rather fast
nice aromas of orange peels, citrus and some hops. Lacking some depth though
medium bodied with a nice feel. Still lacking depth with some orange peels and hops
a decent beer. Lacking on both the aromas and flavor, but very drinkable with some decent hops along with it

Dirty brown-amber with a small beige head. Aroma of not much; caramel, some fruit and yeast. Taste is a little caramel sweet and yeasty; decent, but not much to it. Medium bodied and smooth. Decent for a session, but don’t get excited.

Poured in to Tulip. More than it deserved. Drinks like a lager. Smells and tastes waxy and cheap. It’s so unfortunate, Avery was one of my favorite breweries until I had this. Unfortunate.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Yeasty aroma with hints of caramel and overripe fruit. Flavor is sweet and similar to aroma with some belgian spice hints in the finish.

Had last night (thanks Ryan). Amber color, medium head. Yeasty citrus flavor and aroma. Med lite sweetness light bitter. Pretty good stuff.
