COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Amber, not much head or carbonation. Some fruit in the nose, then the taste of pear or grapes mixed with malt. Very light otherwise and very different.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a finger of instantly settling white head. No lacing at all. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, peach, floral, and honey. Flavor reflects the aroma, sweet, fruity, mildly malty, strong fruity yeast. Not hop or pale ale character to be found. Not sure what makes this a pale ale, but it has a nice belgian character. Moderate to soft carbonation, medium body, and smooth texture, very drinkable. Not sure why it is rated so harshly, quite enjoyed this one. A fruity, light belgian ale.

Bottle pours a hazy amber-orange with a rapidly dissipating white head, a bit of lacing. Aromas of citrus, apricot, honey, and wheatgrass. Flavor is mildly sweet with a hint of bitterness, dry, fruity, and mild. Light and drinkable, but nothing special.

12 oz bottle from Wilbur’s. Golden-amber and clear with a nice off-white head. The aroma is fruit, Belgian yeast, spices and light bready malts. Similar flavor with light spicy hops. Light body with a clean, smooth feel and a dry finish. Refreshing and easy to drink, not bad.

Drinkable ale that has medium body, good mix of hops and malt, but a little heavy on the spices.A bit of sweetness that has a sharp bite - tangerine.

12oz bottle. No clear date despite codes stamped on the bottle. A: Apricot/amber in color; Hazy with a small, cream-colored head after a semi-vigorous pour. Head, and particularly the ring, has good retention. Decent lacing. Some sediment coated the bottom of the empty bottle. S: Subtle; Sweet, fruity and floral, with notes of caramel and toffee over light malt. Mild and tame for style. T: Follows the aroma: again, quite pleasant but not particularly true to style and too mild. M: Medium-light body. Excellent carbonation. A bit watery. O: A refreshing and exceptionally easy to drink Belgian pale ale. But this meek beer lacks substance; if there were a category for light Belgian pales, this beer would fit there. So, a decent session ale and a good transitional beer for those new to craft beer.

Aroma of cider and citrus. Glowing orange and well carbonated. Sweet sugary taste, do not expect an ester bomb because it’s not here. Slick and slightly syrupy. Avery does good stuff usually, but misses the Belgian marker for this one.

12 oz. bottle poured to my1/2 pint taster showing a hazed, orangy amber color, soft white/light cream colored, bubbles & silk head foam that diminished rather quickly to a ring & film, and left some light spots & streaks on the glass as lacing. The aroma started with some metallic scent which masked any fruitness at first, then disipated enough to expose some cherry and ripe apple, sweet breadiness, and hints of caramel & vanilla. The flavor continued the esters, added a moderate to low hop bitterness, slight tartness, light body, decent carbonation, and finishing dryness. More just okay than good. I didn’t connect with the Belgian "inspiration".

A - Pours an orange amber with a 1/2 inch head that melt rather quickly. No lacing. S - Apricots, peach, cherries, honey, caramel malt, faint biscuit yeast. T - Honey malt, tart fruits, caramel, subtle spice on the finish. It has a muted astringent character throughout. The yeast was there but didn’t shine as I’d hoped. It has an odd finish that I can’t put my finger on. An average BPA. Serving type: bottle 08-07-2010

355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity with some grass. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. A decent Belgian pale ale but there are better ones out there.

Pours a hazy orange hue w/ a thin white head and some lacing. Medium aromas of spiced bread and fruit. Taste is fruity, apple, lemon, orange, and yeasty. Light bodied, light bitter finish, soft carbonation. A pleasant beer, not necessarily a stand-out.
