Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz can. Hazy, light golden pour, clingy, off-white head. Aroma has some passion fruit accents, a touch of coriander spice. Flavor runs along the same lines as the aroma. Nice tartness with some bubble gum hints in the finish. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel.

A really good wit beer. Sweetness is tropical fruit, lingering acidity. Pours orangish. Fantastic in the summer.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted from can. Pours a super murky orange with little to no head. Aroma is big time tropical fruit, mostly passion fruit. Taste is moderately sweet with some tartness. A little sticky on the mouth. Flavors of passion fruit and other tropical fruits. Some spices. For a fruit beer it's pretty good but overall not my style.

12oz can from Breeze Thru. Pale golden orange pour, an interesting color blend - pineapple/orange juice. Big tropical fruit in the nose. A mix of aromas. Taste is of passion fruit, melon, pineapple, maybe mango. Very little malt presence. Body is light to medium, the blend is quite well done and the carbonation is low. Very fruit-juicy. Also very tasty. Finishes sweetly fruity. Very nice! 14.4

12oz can from Crossroads. Pours a cloudy straw color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet tropical citrus, peaches, melon, loads of passion fruit, and some Belgian yeast. Taste mimics the nose with more tart citrus, red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit pulp, etc. Solid and refreshing!

Can from Bruisin’ Ales. Big tropical fruit aroma. Not really a wit, with all that passion fruit. Tart finish. Light spice notes throughout. Good.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of sour citrus and malt. Cloudy light amber color, off-white head cover that quickly drops to the rim, tiny dots of lace. Taste is semi-sour citrus and light malt that bounces through a fizzy, lightly hopped swallow, then finishes with sweet growing stronger till the end. Kinda like a shandy, but noticeably better.

Very tart nose of tropical fruit at the top of the pour. Hazy, almost creamy gold color befitting the wit style. Passionfruit is the headliner here, lending a very juicy tropical taste that sits on top of the usual wit character. There is just a tiny bit of Juicy Fruit ester that I think comes from a warm ferment or wheat malt rather than the fruit. There’s also some yeast settling in from this tap pour, all part of a nice profile. Tart overall character means I can take my time finishing it off and reflect on the end of another busy week.
