Witbeer with Passionfruit

Luscious. Juicy. Tart. And like no other! Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Liliko’i Kepolo erupt with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish.

12 oz can into a lager glass. Pronounced aromas of tropical fruits waft up as I pour the cloudy, yellow-amber brew into the glass. Passion-fruit dominates in the flavor but the aroma seems to carry plenty of apricot and pineapple as well. Overall: tasty and tart tropical variant is a welcome departure from the standard banana and clove witbier.

Super cloudy yellow draft pour at DMK burger bar. Super tropical fruity aroma. Very heavy on the passion fruit. Almost like a fruit smoothie- not bad for a style of beer I don't really like usually

Gorgeous, cloudy as hell, bright yellow like some kind of frozen pineapple juice. Puffy head on top. The aroma is a combination of a vinegar/Berliner sourness, along with a citrus tartness. The deScription says Passionfruit; I’m also getting strawberry, tangerine, mandarin orange; summery as hell. And juicy as hell. The taste is more of that vinegar sourness, but immediately tempered by a citrus tartness. A quick slap on the tongue followed by a sweet apology. The feel is slick and just a little rough around the edges. The puckery tartness is outstanding. It’s a little out of season but I’ll take it.
